
Michael T. Andrews is a Litigation Attorney practicing in the areas of fair housing law, landlord-tenant law, commercial litigation, and general civil litigation.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Dakota State University in 1994. He received a Juris Doctor With Distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1998, where he earned Order of the Coif and served as Case Comment Editor for the North Dakota Law Review.
He published an article in the North Dakota Law Review entitled CONSTITUTIONAL LAW--PUNITIVE DAMAGES: THE U.S. SUPREME COURT USES THE DUE PROCESS CLAUSE OF THE FOURTEENTH AMENDMENT TO STRIKE DOWN A TWO MILLION DOLLAR PUNITIVE DAMAGE AWARD BMW OF NORTH AMERICA v. GORE, 116 S. CT. 1589 (1996).
Following Law School Mike served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Rodney S. Webb, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the District of North Dakota. Prior to joining the firm, he spent over nine years in private practice as a Litigation Attorney in Bismarck and Fargo.
He is licensed to practice law in state and federal district courts in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
