Lowell P. Bottrell

Lowell P. Bottrell is a shareholder in Anderson, Bottrell, Sanden & Thompson. He received his B.S. degree from North Dakota State University and his J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota. He is licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota in both state and federal courts. Mr. Bottrell is a member of several legal associations and is a former adjunct professor at the University of North Dakota School of Law.

Mr. Bottrell's practice involves banking law, agricultural law, contract law, bankruptcy, debtor/creditor and commercial law. He advises several bank and large equipment companies. He has successfully arbitrated a number of federal crop insurance cases. He has extensive experience in representing seed companies in infringement cases under the Plant Variety Protection Act, and his experience also includes licensing of patent protected plants and other technology. He also has extensive experience in representing creditors, debtors and trustees in bankruptcy, and has represented clients in Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases. Currently, a majority of his work consists of representing creditors. He has 24 years of experience in the practice of law.
